Located northeast of Humboldt at the intersection of 1200th and Maryland Rd., Tract 4 totals 78 acres more or less and features mixed grass hay meadow, cropland and timber. The crop fields are in the east 1/2 and possess a gentle slope from east to west providing good drainage. The total cropland acreage is 45.58 acres according to FSA records. The majority soil type within the tillable portions is Kenoma silt loam with Zaar silty clay and Eram silty clay loam composing the balance of this tract. Please refer to the soil map within the “Related Documents” section of this listing on our website.

Transitioning to the west half of the property, you’ll find a beautiful meadow with timbered draws bisecting it from north to south and a sizable pond near the west boundary. With some fence work, the grass portion of this offering could be used to graze livestock if that better suits your desires.

The location and access is convenient being located just a 1/2 mile from pavement with approximate drives to Humboldt being 3 miles and 5 miles to Iola. For anyone interested in a building site, there’s not electric service directly at the property but it’s not far away to both the east and the west.
